The ONEstage SPD3's big brother the SPD5 raised the bar for portable power management and distribution and the miniaturised SPD3 has packed some of the same great features into a new smaller pack. Designed from the ground up to meet the stringent requirements of AS/NZS3002:2021 and AS/NZS3105:2017, the SPD3 keeps the original layout of the popular SPD-T1au and adds a robust 2-pole switch with thermal overload protection combined with a black rocker switch.

The recess power present led was borrowed from the SPD5 and is located behind a transparent window in the medical grade polycarbonate decal which allowed the designers to use a UV stabilized black rocker switch. As the only moving part, the lifespan of the rocker switch should be greatly increased, even when exposed to extreme UV conditions.
