    Century Stands, or simply known as C-Stands, have been the most common type of grip equipment used by the filmmaking industry for decades due to their strength and flexibility. Used on their own, or in combination with a grip head and grip arm, the C-Stand is used for mounting lighting equipment and a variety of light shaping tools and accessories.

    The Kupo Master C-Stand with Sliding Leg features two legs that are spring loaded to open in fixed positions while the third leg is height adjustable by loosening a locking knob and sliding it up and down the main riser section. This enables the user to raise one leg higher than the others to level out the stand on an incline or uneven terrain. This feature provides optimum support of lights, reflectors, and gobos.

    All C-Stands feature a unique base specially designed with three varied leg heights. This enables the user to stack or nest the stand bases so that the risers are just inches apart from one another for use in close proximity mounting of lights and other grip equipment along with easy storage. The 20in Master C-Stand has a chrome-plated finish and a zinc alloy casting on its base that's five times stronger than aluminum to sustain the weight of heavy sandbags and other equipment. The aluminum cast locking collars are outfitted with a stainless steel heli-coil that protects the risers from damage.

    Master Series C-Stand Kits with Sliding Leg C-Stand

    The Kupo Master C Stand with Sliding Leg has two legs that are spring loaded to open in fixed positions while the third leg is height adjustable by loosening a locking knob and sliding it up and down the main riser section.

    This enables the user to raise one leg higher than the others to level out the stand on an incline or uneven terrain.

    The 40" Grip Arm with Hex Stud is a 2 1/2" grip head mounted on the end of a 40" piece of steel tubing 5/8" (16mm) in diameter and finished with a faceted hex stud to keep lighting fixtures in position when they are placed on the end of the arm.

    The surface of the tubing is painstakingly machined to create a rough texture to ensure a non-slip surface. The 2 1/2" grip head consists of a pair of rotating aluminum discs attached to a 5/8" (16 mm) receiver.

    The discs have four different sized V shaped jaws to accept any accessory with a 5/8", 1/2", 3/8" or 1/4" mounting stud or tubing. The V shaped jaws have teeth that grab whatever is mounted between the plates securely.

    The 2 1/2" grip head features an oversized ergonomic T handle and dedicated roller bearings designed for maximum torque.

    Overview

    Also known as "Menace Arm" it is designed primarily to boom the set in order to hold lighting in the desired position while keeping the stand out of the shot by the safest method. It works a standard 48.3mm pipe.
    The front adapter of the kit comes with 2 baby pins and 1 junior receiver which allows you to mount lighting fixtures or other grip accessories like a flag or frame. The rear adapter is also welded with 2 hooks for hanging over the sandbags to increase stability of the boom and a D-ring which is for ratchet strap connection to the D-rings of the front adapter and center adapter which are mounted on the grip head.
    The joint pipe adapter comes with dual knobs for safely mounting while connecting the pipe from two sides. Features the unique captive locking knob which prevents the knob from coming off even if completely unscrewed. The safety wire with Linchpin is attached for an extra level of security.
