Spring cushioned
Designed primarily to support overhead frames, also known as butterfly frames this giant is ready to take your support needs skyward. Each riser is spring cushioned as a safety feature to protect lighting fixtures from a sudden drop if the locking collar becomes loose. The solid steel construction has a maximum load capacity of 40kg and is equipped with braked casters to easily reposition heavy loads. Each caster is equipped with a peg that extends past the wheel allowing it to stand upright when collapsed. The High Overhead Stand also features a true combination head with a 4 1/2" grip head, and a junior 1-1/8" (28mm) receiver to accept any kind of mounting challenge.
A great choice for support of sliders mounted with cameras of almost any size, the black-finished Kupo 161MB Slider Stand weighs just 5.8 kg but can handle rigs weighing up to 36 kg. The stand rises to a maximum working height of 115 cm, and a minimum height of 58 cm, and folds down to 68 cm in length. A memory collar is included so you can quickly return to a previous height adjustment.
Its wide 55 cm footprint makes for a stable base and is augmented by two adjustable levelling legs fortified with centre braces that maintain balance on uneven terrain. As a convenience, a bubble is located near the centre column. The Slider Stand has a 1-1/8" receiver for gear with a Junior pin, but there are easily accessed adapters that can convert it to a 5/8" stud.
The Kupo 186M Short Low Mighty Stand is ideal for a heavy light head at low level and ranges from a full working height of 101cm, down to a minimum of 64.5cm.
The Short Low Mighty Stand also features the triple function universal combo head with both 1-1/8" (28mm) and 5/8" (16mm) receivers plus a multi-direction 5/8" (16mm) stud to accept any kind of mounting challenge.
