    This control gear is designed with 4 channels PWM output, which enables to control tuneable white LEDs, RGB LEDs, RGBW LEDs depending on the device type configured.     DALI address can be freely set using the buttons and digital display even without a DALI master controller.

    This control gear also supports push dim to control not only brightness but also colour temperature and RGB colours even if there is no DALI signal.

    The SR-2701S is a DALI relay module which is capable of switching both AC and DC loads. The max. switching voltage for AC loads is 250V, and the max. switching voltage for DC loads is 30V. The DALI RM enables to integrate existing loads which do not have DALI input into DALI circuit and switch on/off the loads.

    The max. load capacity for conventional incandescent and halogen light sources is 1000W @ 230V, and max. load capacity for LED light sources is 300W @ 230V. It is easy to be installed into existing standard wall boxes or mounted on 35mm DIN rail with an extra mounting bracket.

    daliGate quad is an Art-Net 4 enabled DIN rail ethernet-to-DALI gateway.

    daliGate quad seamlessly integrates DALI with Art-Net/DMX/RDM. In practice, it enables any Art-Net enabled console to control DALI fixtures alongside DMX/RDM infrastructure. No need for proprietary technology or specialist engineers!

    daliGate quad is DIN rail product with Art-Net/sACN on the input and four DALI outputs. It can be used in two distinct ways – streaming and command – which are described in detail below.

    In command mode, daliGate quad can be used with our free daliScene app to remotely control scenes from a tablet or smartphone.

    Detail

    daliGate quad is an ethernet-to-DALI interface providing four DALI circuits. It supports Art-Net 4 and sACN.

    Configuration is via the internal web-browser or DMX-Workshop (free-of-charge software available from Artistic Licence). DHCP enables automatic IP addressing; static IP and LLRP negotiation are also supported.

    All four DALI circuits are individually optically isolated.

    A factory reset switch enables the default settings to be restored – simply hold down and cycle the power. Alternatively, a single press of this button sends a ‘squawk’ message over the network to the console. This enables easy physical location of the gateway.

    The product is powered by PoE or an external DC power supply

    Operation

    daliGate quad can be used in two distinct ways, both of which are ground-breaking:

    Mode 1: Streaming

    This mode is useful for any application where both DMX and DALI are needed.

    • Use daliGate quad with an Art-Net capable lighting desk to directly control DALI gear alongside DMX fixtures.
    • All DALI back channel data (such as lamp failure, product capability) is converted to RDM and returned over Art-Net so that the lighting desk can view and change the settings.
    • Broadcast, group and channel addressing can be used at same time to increase flexibility.
    • daliGate quad has a data capture system built in, allowing it to be used as a test and analysis tool in combination with DMX-Workshop (our free software package).

    Mode 2: Scene

    This mode is useful for applications that require remote control of scenes, such as corporate foyers or meeting rooms, retail, high-end residential, schools, museums and visitor centres.

    DMXtoDALI quad converts DMX values into DALI commands to allow integration between a DMX512 controller and DALI devices. Up to four DALI circuits can be controlled via DMX512 allowing up to 256 devices to be connected. (For conversion of DALI into DMX, please see the sister product, DALItoDMX).

    DMXtoDALI quad provides simultaneous control via all four addressing modes (Broadcast, Group, Device and Scene) for DT0 (intensity) and supports Broadcast, Group and Scene for DT8 (Colour Temperature and RGBWAF).

    Product configuration involves selection (via RDM) of the DMX512 start address (programmable per product and per DALI circuit) and personality. The latter defines the map between the DMX512 channels and DALI addresses and comes in nine variants to cover common control scenarios. Once configured, a DMX512 channel level change triggers transmission of a DALI command.

    DMXtoDALI quad is highly configurable, enabling it to be tailored for specific installation requirements. If DALI luminaires are to be used alongside DMX lamps, a dimming curve correction can be implemented to improve the visual effect.

    Other configuration options include the ability to disable buffering (a trick that can be useful for fast-moving effects), and a ‘quiet mode’ that suppresses automatic discovery of commissioned DALI devices (to allow interoperability with multiple DALI masters).

    The front panel of DMXtoDALI features status LEDs that give useful instant feedback. In particular, the DALI circuit LEDs will not illuminate if the DALI bus power is missing. The DMX512 light gives confidence that input data is being received, and the power indicator flashes when an RDM locate command is sent (this feature enables easy identification of the DALI devices on each circuit).

    The DMX input can withstand accidental continuous connection to 425 VAC, and will recover when the fault is removed.
